I know that by now you guys are probably sick of reading 2017 wrap-up posts. But hopefully you have it in you to read just one more! I recently posted my list of Top 2017 Reads, which highlights my favorite books of the year. This post is not quite the same; this is going to feature my reading stats (which I made handy-dandy graphics for), and just a couple things I want to work towards in 2018. Here we go!

Hi friends! I realize I’m a bit behind with this post, as most bloggers have already posted their 2017 wrap-ups and favorites list. But I was frantically trying to reach my Goodreads goal literally up until the last 20 minutes of the year (I had to read one and a half books on December 31st in order to reach my goal—I don’t recommend this lifestyle kids, it took some real effort, LOL). Good news is I reached it! But I waited until I was 100% done with all my 2017 reads before I made a wrap-up (coming very soon!) or end-of-the-year list, just in case one of those last-minute reads became a favorite (spoiler alert: none of them did).
But I had the pleasure of reading some really amazing books in 2017! I’d say, in terms of quality, it was one of my best years yet! I chose not to do a set number of favorite books on my list (top 10, 5, etc.), just because I’d rather feature all the books that really deserve it! Don’t worry, it’s still a fairly short list.

Welcome to my very first Down the TBR Hole post! I’m super excited to try this out. As I explained in a recent discussion post, my TBR is way too long for its own good. I’ve tried tons of different techniques to lower my TBR, but nothing seems to work. So I’m (figuratively) crossing every appendage of my body in hopes that this meme helps.
And in case you’re not aware, Down the TBR Hole is a meme created by Lost in a Story that involves cleansing your TBR of all the books you no longer feel like reading. I’ll be featuring ten books at a time, and deciding if they should stay, or be removed!
I decided to start at the very bottom of my Goodreads to-read shelf, and work my way up. It should be fun to see what I put on there a million years ago!

Hello bookworms! Today I’m doing my first (I think it’s my first??) book tag! I know this one’s a bit older and most people have done it already, but I feel like I have some unique opinions and really wanted to try it myself. Hopefully this won’t be boring for you guys!
I wasn’t actually tagged to do this, but I saw it most recently done by Book Princess Reviews, and loved it! So I took the liberty of just doing it myself, lol.
Here we go! You can click on the photos of each book to see their Goodreads page.

Hi friends! I haven’t been able to do much this past week besides non-stop homework, so I really miss reading all your beautiful posts!
It’s already that time of year where I scroll through my bookstagram feed admiring all the crisp orange leaves, strategically placed pumpkins, and steaming Starbucks lattes while I sit in 90-degree weather sweating my face off. Florida is a great place if you really enjoy year-round summer.
It’s also that time of year for a crazy amount of book releases! I think I’ve already had an existential crisis or two over the fact that I will never be able to keep up with all the books in the world. Though it’s not for lack of trying, which brings me to the purpose of this post!
I don’t usually set any form of immediate TBRs, since I rarely stick to them. But after getting an influx of eARCs, on top of recently released sequels and some other books, I decided to set a general list of books that I want/need to read during this fall season.
So here it is, specially crafted for your viewing pleasure! *wink*
