A happy belated birthday to this beauty!! 💜

I had such a blast at the YALLFest Novl event, and meeting Ronni was definitely a highlight!! I told her how I did a class project on the cover of this book and it was a good time 😂 The story inside sounds just as beautiful, and I’m really feeling a break from fantasy lately, so I think I’ll pick this up soon! ✨

I’ve talked about my excitement for the release of Gravemaidens on my stories before, but I finally got a chance to photograph all of these gorgeous preorder goodies so I’m posting it here too (honestly, you can never have too much excitement over book swag)! 🙌🏼

The details: if you submit your proof of preorder to @kellycoon106 (on her website, before the release date 10/29), you can receive everything in this picture, plus a short story! If you’re in the US, you’ll receive everything (including the enamel pin) except the Maiden Tonic card, and if you’re international, you’ll receive everything but the enamel pin, and the Maiden Tonic card instead (I am making any sense?? 🤔) You can also get fun stuff if you submit proof of a library request, so everyone can participate! 🎉

ALSO, @getunderlined recently announced that if you preorder Gravemaidens, you can submit to them for an amazing book nerd pillowcase!! Literally so much swag to be had!
I’m planning on picking this book up as soon as I finish Ninth House, I really can’t wait! @jordz_the_bibliophile is already reading it and she’s making me pretty hyped to meet Dagan 👀

What’s a book you’re really hoping to read soon?? 🖤

Ever since reviews started popping up for The Lady Rogue, I’ve been literally DYING to read it! I seriously love Jenn Bennett’s writing and I think the romance in this is gonna become a new favorite of mine (or so I hope). I love historical fantasy as well, so 🤞🏼 that I can get to it really soon!

I’m sorry I haven’t been very active with posting lately! My room is a great place for taking quick photos but this semester has just been off to the rockiest start (I’ve gotten TWO different flus in less than a month 🤦‍♀️). I’m trying to get into a real routine, and then hopefully I can post at least semi-regularly 😂

Sooo I may have started just a *slightly* hyped book today, ya know, no big deal 👀👀 *unleashes inner animal wail over how excited I am to finally be reading this book because I swear Leigh Bardugo was born to write creepy adult urban fantasy*

Okay but seriously I’m only 10 pages in and I’ve already been so pleasantly surprised by this book! Leigh really isn’t holding back, which I love. (Not to jinx it though because so many of my 2019 anticipated reads have disappointed me and I don’t think I can take anymore heartbreak 🙃) I’ll try my best to keep y’all updated as I read this beast! 🖤

The wait for this book has felt like 1200 centuries, but today is finally the day it releases into the world!! I’m currently about 100 pages away from the ending, and I’m excited (but a little terrified) to see where Adrienne concludes the adventures in this stunning Viking universe ✨

What’s your favorite bookstore to visit? B&N? Or a local indie? 🖤

I just picked up this book yesterday at a really cool second hand bookstore! I’d never been there before, and it had soooo many shelves piled high with books, it was super easy to get lost in 😂 I’ve heard really great things about The Wicker King, and the mix of formats in it definitely has me interested. Let me know what you thought of this one if you’ve read it!!

Do you like mixed-media books? I personally LOVE them (if they’re done well), but I know some people hate them. A personal favorite mixed media book of mine is obviously the Illuminae trilogy 💥💫
