Once again, my monthly wrap-up post is like 1000 days late, but my life is just crazy, so I hope you guys get used to reading these posts about a week after the new month has started. I don’t know, maybe you’ll like it even better that way..?
stop kidding yourself Mia
Also I apologize for how ugly the post header is, but I had zero time to attempt to make something nice, so please excuse my lack of design skills and patience.
Overall, February was pretty bad – for my reading/blogging/book stuff in general. Life-wise, it was meh. I’ll give you guys a little more detail on just why I’ve been so busy lately, but that’s later in the post. Mostly I’m gonna chalk up my complete failure to the fact that February is the shortest month. Two or three more days obviously would’ve changed everything, right?? Right. Glad we’re on the same page.

Title: Seven Days of You
Author: Cecilia Vinesse
Genre: YA, contemporary, romance
Format: Print ARC; received in exchange for an honest review
Release Date: March 7th, 2017 by Little, Brown Books
Synopsis: Sophia has seven days left in Tokyo before she moves back to the States. Seven days to say good-bye to the electric city, her wild best friend, and the boy she’s harbored a semi-secret crush on for years. Seven perfect days…until Jamie Foster-Collins moves back to Japan and ruins everything.
Jamie and Sophia have a history of heartbreak, and the last thing Sophia wants is for him to steal her leaving thunder with his stupid arriving thunder. Yet as the week counts down, the relationships she thought were stable begin to explode around her. And Jamie is the one who helps her pick up the pieces. Sophia is forced to admit she may have misjudged Jamie, but can their seven short days of Tokyo adventures end in anything but good-bye?
Before receiving this book in the mail, I really didn’t know too much about it, other than what I had gathered from the synopsis. Nevertheless, I jumped right in and was completely blown away! This story is a perfect mixture of adventure, love, family, culture, and heartbreak, with just a dash of quirky humor.

Hello my bookworm friends! Today I’m doing an unboxing of the January Owlcrate! I’m assuming everyone that purchased a box has seen it already (since Owlcrate has already sent out their February box), so I don’t think spoilers are an issue. But if you’re by chance still waiting for a January box, then I don’t recommend reading this post! 😅
Last month’s theme was “Classic Remix,” so it was all about modern reinventions of classic literature. Before purchasing it, I already had a good idea of what the book was, and I was definitely thrilled to see it included in this box! In addition to a beautiful hardcover book, there were all sorts of gorgeous items that I was really satisfied with.
Disclaimer: I’m not a rep for Owlcrate or a reviewer, so all my thoughts are those of an average consumer.
Here we go!

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY MY FRIENDS! I’m currently sending you all loads of hearts, flowers, and hugs
(because you’re my real valentines)!
I hope you’ve had a great day today, even if you don’t celebrate. I’m currently stuffed from the insane amount of treats and candy I had.
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, I decided to participate in my first Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Since I’ve never done one of these before, you’ll have to hang with me as I figure stuff out.
The prompt for this week was just anything romance related, so I decided to feature some of my favorite “steamy” romances (which I’ve kind of been thinking a lot about lately, for some random reason). Romance is different for everyone, but here’s what I think of when a romance is “steamy”:

Hello friends, and welcome to my first ever monthly wrap-up! I’ve done these before over on my bookstagram, but never as a full blog post, and I’m super excited to finally have a place where I can reflect on everything that’s happened in the past month. I know every blogger does their wrap-up posts a little differently, but I decided to include both a list of all the books I read in January, and all the books that I hauled (take a guess at which list is longer). I would have liked to post this earlier, but (as you’ll see later in the post) my life has been quite insane lately.
